And today I found myself inside a recycling bay used to break down organic waste...which is a first! Very interesting assignment actually, showing school children how a peat alternative compost can be created using organic waste and then used to nurture seeds and complete the cycle. That pile of rotting food rubbish on the left had been there for some weeks and it certainly had an interesting bouquet.
