Yesterday I was lucky enough to be part of the official photography team for Tough Guy, billed as 'the toughest race in the world'. There was ice, fire, barbed wire, electrocution, more ice and lots and lots of mud. I can safely say I've never seen anything like it in my entire life. It was an amazing day - the atmosphere was a heady mixture of fun and fear. Even though it is billed as 'Tough Guy' there were plenty of Tough Girls doing it and it was noted, on more than one occasion and in more than one location, that the girls did seem to be a bit more cheerful than the boys. I am thinking that we need to ban the phrase 'Man up' and replace it with 'Woman up' ....far more apt!
Here are a couple of muddy examples - Phil O'Connor Photography was the official photographer for the event and pics will be be on the website shortly to view and purchase: http://philoconnorphotographyltd.thirdlight.com/viewcontainer.tlx?containerid=9343111990&home=1
